Inventory Analysis

Inventory Analysis is used to make sure overall inventory and lot location inventory match for each lot.

Lots out of balance table.

The initial inventory for lot 139021 was 250 units. 50 of the units are committed yet the available does not show any on hand. This is confirmed with a difference of -200 units.

When the lot is opened for updating, we see that 200 units were sold to Andry's Flavor and Food Ingredients. For some reason the lot location was not updated.

The lot screen shows quantity on hand as 50, which is correct since the order to Big Boy Manufacturing has not been completed.

An adjustment to the lot location needs to be made to remove the 200 units not recorded. Most of the time the lot locations are off is because the warehouse did not record the location of the product release.
