LOT STATUSES

A Lot Status is used to segregate product lots into groups. Here are a few examples of lot statuses:

Available is used to release a lot for sale.

There are 4 fields that can be used to control lot release.

The name of the status, for example Damage indicate the lot may have damage done to it.

The On Hold check box is to stop the release of the product since the release must be approved by another department.

A Description of the status to better explain the Status. For example, QC Hold indicates the lot has a QC issue.

Password is used to stop the release of the product lot unless a password is entered to allow the release.
