The chart of accounts is a listing of all accounts used in the general ledger. The chart is used by the accounting software to aggregate information into an entity's financial statements. The chart is sorted in order by account number, to ease the task of locating specific accounts.

Even through the Naviteer Broker only uses partial account (Accounts Receivable - AR), it still posts records to a general ledger. A chart of accounts is included with the default version of Naviteer. It can be changed to meet the needs of the company.

Accounts are entered as a number and description.

Printing entry fields are used to print headers and organize the chart of account for printing reports.
